How does EquiTrack handle Indian stock market taxes?

EquiTrack uses strict First-In-First-Out (FIFO) accounting to compute LTCG, STCG, and intraday P&L for every NSE / BSE equity trade, including grandfathering NAV for holdings acquired on or before 31 January 2018 (Sec 112A). Bonus shares (Sec 55), stock splits (Sec 2(42A)), and corporate actions are all handled automatically. Output maps directly to ITR Schedule 112A and 111A rows.

Native parsers ship for Zerodha, Kotak Securities, and Bhogilal Trikamlal Securities — these parse deterministically from the contract note PDF with zero AI cost. An AI fallback (Claude Sonnet 4.5) covers every other broker including Groww, Upstox, ICICI Direct, HDFC Securities, Angel One, 5paisa, IIFL, Sharekhan, Motilal Oswal, Axis Direct, Paytm Money, Dhan, Fyers, and SBI Securities.

Does EquiTrack support mutual funds?

Yes. Upload your CAMS or KFintech consolidated account statement (eCAS PDF) and EquiTrack extracts every folio, scheme, purchase, SIP, redemption, switch, and dividend. NAVs auto-sync daily from AMFI across ~14,350 schemes. Realized gains are classified per ITR rules — Sec 112A (equity > ₹1 L LTCG with grandfathering), Sec 111A (equity STCG), and pre-April-2023 debt LTCG with indexation.

Is my financial data secure on EquiTrack?

All data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.2+. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Broker-PDF passwords are stored with Fernet envelope encryption. AI parsing is strictly stateless — your contract notes and statements are never used to train models and are never shared with any third party for marketing. Full data export is always available; deletion hard-purges all user data within 3 days.

7-day free trial with no credit card. Paid plans start at ₹500 per month for the Equity Manual tier (3 portfolios). Equity + AI is ₹1,000 per month and the full Equity + Mutual Fund + AI tier is ₹1,250 per month. Add extra portfolios for a small add-on fee. Commit for 6 or 12 months and save up to 25%.
